DICKINSON (January 28, 2011)—Police in Dickinson are looking for the vandals who dumped acid on every pew at the Christian Fellowship Ministry Church. The Rev. Noble Cooper, Jr. told the Galveston County Daily News that the locks had been removed from the doors and acid was poured on the carpet, the pulpit and on each bench.  Cooper said several musical instruments were stolen, along with other equipment.

Police believe the vandalism happened early Sunday at the church, which has about 25 members.

Sgt. Frank Price estimates the damage is at least $30,000.
