Dr. Steve Allen began pastoring Harvest Christian Fellowship in Spokane, Washington, almost 30 years ago at the age of 23. As a young man, he was greatly used in the Spokane area to spark revival among Catholic youth. His burden for young people has continued to this day as God has called him to "raise up leaders for the next generation."

In 1987, the vision to train young men and women exploded in his heart and he began to challenge the youth of his church to answer the call to be "world changers." The Master's Commission was birthed in 1988 as a powerful way to equip these future leaders with all that they would need to fulfill this great call. Today there are over 1,000 Master's Commission graduates around the world and 15 Master's Commission programs operating in the United States and Australia that relate to Dr. Allen and The Master's Commission.

Dr. Allen is president and founder of Generational Ministries Fellowship (GMF) an apostolic network of ministries, committed to fathering generations of sons and daughters of vision, to discipline the nations and to advancing the Kingdom of God in the earth.

Dr. Allen's ministry has touched the nations of Japan, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Australia, South Africa, Mexico, countries in both eastern and western Europe, as well as throughout the United States. His strong fathering anointing has impacted young and old around the world.

Harvest Christian Fellowship, in Spokane, also occupies the original site of Dr. John G. Lake's Tabernacle.  Dr. Allen, and his wife Patty, have six children and two grand children.
