The Pastor's Corner
THE DAYS OF NOAH
Greetings Saints and faithful sisters and brothers of the Gospel Lighthouse and Center Hill Church Families. Today, we are
nearer to the return of Christ than ever before according to scripture. We must watch and pray for we know not the hour
our Savior's return. The enemy will try to do everything to keep you from praying, reading the word and attending church.
I beseech you to press your way because we are going to need all our strength to continue defeating the tactics and schematics
of the adversary daily. It's going to take some steadfast determination in these perilous times.
Remember David's mighty men of valor? Eleazor was one of David's peculiar mighty men who stood alone and fought the
whole Philistine army. If you have to stand alone this year for the sake of the gospel, remember how David defeated the giant
Goliath alone and how David's group of mighty men fought battles alone in the power of God defeating all their enemies who
outnumbered them. This year, as well as future years, we are looking for the manifestations of His glory through His people.
Somebody said that this year God will bless you double for your trouble. Some are so afraid because of all of the things
they are saying in the news, but who's report will you believe? Brothers and Sisters, every day, any day, the Lord God could
call us home. Within the next minute or second, we could be wiped away. Let us focus on the Eternal One who created us and
put our trust and confidence in Him.
The next day, the next hour, or the next minute, my friend, could be our last. "It is appointed unto man once
to die and after that the judgement." You just have to be ready! You must be prepared. You must do your best.
You can read the Word of God over and over, but it takes the Spirit of the Almighty God to empower you to live the Word.
That's what many are missing today. According to scripture, we must love the Creator with all of our heart, with all of our
soul and with all of our might, Deuteronomy 6:5. Therefore, we must live a just life and walk in righteousness - Leviticus
19:36; Psalm 1:6; Proverbs 8:20.
If the angels who disobeyed Him were cast down from heaven, what about us humans? The rebellious angels left their first
estate. Are humans not doing the same thing today? After the angels rebelled, giants were on the earth: Some of the giants
mentioned in Scripture are the people of Anakim (Numbers 13:33), the people of Emim (Deuteronomy 2:11), the people of Zamzummim
(Deuteronomy 2:20), King Og of Bashan (Deuteronomy 3:11), those defeated by Moses out of the land of Canaan (Joshua 13:12),
Ishbi-Benob of the Philistines (2 Samuel 21:16), and sons born to a giant in the territory of Gath: Sippai, Lahmi the brother
of Goliath, and a man with 24 fingers and toes (1 Chronicles 20:4-8).
After the giants were on the earth, God (the Creator) sent a flood. Why? The Book of Genesis says, "When the LORD
saw how great the wickedness of human beings was on earth, and how every desire that their heart conceived was always nothing
but evil, the LORD regretted making human beings on the earth, and his heart was grieved. So the LORD said: I will wipe out
from the earth the human beings I have created, and not only the human beings, but also the animals and the crawling things
and the birds of the air, for I regret that I made them." The fallen angels not only corrupted the human race, but they
also corrupted the animals and whatever they could. Is that not happening today? The days of Noah are already here. How
many were spared? He will always have a REMNANT.
Stand up for what is right, true and just. Seek Him daily! God Bless you. Be strong, keep the faith and expect deliverance.
Grace be unto you and let peace abound. Selah (read it, ponder it, act on it)
